Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Cash Cow Competitions.


2. Eligibility

  • Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
  • You must enter using your own legal name and accurate contact details.
  • Only one entry per person per competition unless otherwise stated.
  • Employees, contractors, or anyone directly involved in running the competition are not eligible.
  • We reserve the right to request proof of age or identity before awarding any prize.

3. How to Enter

You can enter a competition in one of two ways:

A. Online Entry (Paid or Free)

  • Complete the entry form on the relevant competition page.
  • Answer the skill‑based question correctly.
  • Only entries with the correct answer will be entered into the final draw.
  • Entries submitted after the closing date will not be counted.

B. Free Postal Entry Route

No purchase is necessary to enter.

To enter for free, send the following information on a postcard or letter:

  • Full name
  • Full address
  • Date of birth
  • Email address
  • Contact telephone number
  • The name of the competition
  • Your answer to the skill‑based question

Postal entries must arrive before the competition closing date. Incomplete or illegible entries will not be accepted.


4. Competition Period

  • Each competition has a clearly stated opening and closing date/time.
  • We may extend or shorten a competition if necessary (e.g., technical issues, insufficient entries).
  • Any changes will be communicated on the website.

5. Skill‑Based Question

All competitions require entrants to answer a skill‑based question. This ensures the competition is a legal prize competition and not a lottery.

Only entries with the correct answer will be included in the final draw.


6. Winner Selection

  • Winners are selected at random from all correct entries (including free postal entries).
  • The draw is conducted using a fair, secure, and verifiable process.
  • The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Winner Notification

  • Winners will be contacted via the email address provided during entry.
  • If the winner does not respond within 7 days, we reserve the right to select a new winner.
  • We are not responsible for incorrect email addresses or missed notifications.

8. Prize Details

  • Each prize is clearly described on the competition page.
  • Prizes are non‑transferable and cannot be exchanged.
  • Cash prizes are paid via bank transfer to a UK bank account in the winner’s name.
  • Physical prizes will be delivered to the winner’s UK address unless otherwise stated.

9. Publicity

  • Winners may be asked for permission to have their first name and/or town displayed on our website or social media.
  • We will never publish full names, addresses, or personal details without explicit consent.
  • Winners may be asked to provide a photo for our Winners Page (optional).

10. Disqualification

We reserve the right to disqualify entries that:

  • Contain false or misleading information
  • Are submitted using automated systems
  • Breach these Terms & Conditions
  • Attempt to manipulate or interfere with the competition

If a disqualified entrant is selected as a winner, a new winner will be drawn.


11. Changes or Cancellation

We may cancel or amend a competition if necessary due to events outside our control. If a competition is cancelled, all paid entries will be refunded.


12. Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Technical issues preventing entry
  • Delays in email communication
  • Postal delays affecting free entries
  • Incorrect information submitted by entrants
  • Loss or damage caused by third‑party delivery services

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.


13. Data Protection

  • We only collect information necessary to operate the competition.
  • Your data will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.


15. Relationship with Shopify (Required Section)

Cash Cow Competitions is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our online store and services. All purchases and entries are made directly with Cash Cow Competitions. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of our competitions, prizes, or transactions.
